These are a few activities you can find in holbox
You are a walking distance from the best spots to enjoy the bioluminescence. In order to have the best experience you need complete darkness, so find a time when the moon hasn´t showed yet or it´s already gone. You can check times on this website. Beside that, you sould go to beaches as farther from lights as possible. We recommend to get into the water and swim for the best experience.
IMPORTAN!: Do not take any belongins with you. Specially not phones or wallets. Unfortunately your things could be stollen while you are in the water. Ideally you should take only lamp or a headlamp with you. You can hide it somewhere in the beach if you plan to take relaxing night swim
Spots you can go:Our beach LOCATION: You get to see bioluminescen at the nearest beach, but it has to be with no moon and try to go away from the lights of Nomade Hotelor any other source.
Casa blanca LOCATION: This is a darker beach as there is only one construction in the area
Punta Cocos LOCATION: This is the place where most the paid tours take you. Good place to see the effect but it could be crowded in high seasson.
Punta Ciricote LOCATION:This spot is a bit farther so it would be easier to be on your own. As the is no constructions, it will be dark.
